Ricky is the executive editor of the Philippine Daily Mirror and has written for several publications in the U.S. and the Philippines. He is a past president of the JCI- Philippine New York and the Filipino American Press Club of New York (FAPCNY). As a journalist, he was honored by the National Association of Filipino Americans (NAFA-New Jersey), Philippine American Concerned Citizens League (PACCAL), and the Jose P. Rizal (JPR) International Foundation, Inc. Ricky has been an active leader of the Filipino American Community since the 1980s.
